Dichroic glass is made by depositing micro layers of metal oxides onto the surface of the glass and repeatedly firing it at extreme temperatures. This process lends the glass its special quality of shimmering metallic colours. The glass shows myriads of different colours depending on the angle at which it is viewed. This piece of dichroic glass jewellery is handmade in England and finished with solid sterling silver.
